Etna DOC Rosé | 75cl

20,00
Tornatore’s Etna Rosato comes from a successful interpretation of Nerello Mascalese vinified in white. Direct pressing, without any maceration, imparts easy drinking, aromatic fragrance and savory flavor persistence. The wine remains immediately available but of surprising length and persistence.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Cherry color tending toward old rose, surprisingly fruity; reminiscent of white mulberries, yellow melon and small berries. In the mouth it is full, lingering, fresh, with a mineral note that gives us hope for a long shelf life. Such characteristics make this wine important and surprisingly responsive to the grape variety and terroir from which it comes.

Vinification

Grapes harvested by hand in small crates are brought quickly to the winery and undergo manual selection on a belt. De-stemmed and lightly crushed they arrive at the press where they are softly pressed. The obtained must is cold clarified and placed to ferment at a temperature of15/16°C. Once fermentation is finished, the resulting wine rests on the fi ni lees for about three months.
